As you can see, she was obviously the most beautiful dog in the world!! She was as smart and sweet as she was beautiful. My husband and I can't wait to see her picture drawn with her name "Lucy" hundreds of times. -Susan

Concrete Poetry

Good morning.

I wanted to finally email you and say thank you for your wonderful work! Not only do you make gift giving easy for that person that has everything ( I both own and have gifted your work several times), but I also use you in my 7th grade English classroom to introduce our poetry unit!

So many of my rural students come into the unit with a poetry "chip" on their shoulder so the very first thing we cover is concrete poems and the very first thing that I do is pull up examples of your artwork - and the magic seems to happen. Kids that only wanted to create a "ball" or "flower" are inspired and challenge themselves to create more interesting pictures.

Today was again the first day of poetry and again the students are swarming to see your work so I decided that it would be a good time to let you know!

Thank you so much for the artwork! Today was Tytus’s final day here with us and we got the artwork on Saturday. While he was being put down, I framed the print. We had a ceremony to bury him then we hung your picture of him in our kitchen next to the door he always went outside. In Faith, Matt

I'm sure I'll just love the Boxer drawing. Over the years, as our children moved into their own homes and got their own dogs, our gift to them has been one of your drawings. In fact, the Dalmatian that you did for me several years ago has held a prominent place in my son's home-- first in Belgium, Korea, Washington, DC, and now in California. Now that I have a dog of my own, I just had to have a Kline of my own. Rest assured, the Boxer will have a good home.
